Just wondering if anyone does custom requests. I'll be honest I'm not a java developer; however, I am a systems integrator and know just enough to hack and tweak what is already there. Let me get to the point, I am trying to add a similar function to qwikioffice as is shown in the image below.



I have managed to add an icon where I would like it; however, have been unable to get it to work because its a static button that doesn't follow the qwikioffice shortcut model.



I can handle the server side requests, I'm just looking for some help presenting the returned data. For a little history on what I have done to date please see my previous post

I'm using the interface to build a social network so the notification window is displaying updates from your friends.
